Important: DentalPNL reports are benchmarking tools for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, accounting, legal, or professional advice. Always consult your CPA or financial advisor before making significant business decisions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DentalPNL ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service.
2. Description of Service
DentalPNL provides AI-powered overhead benchmarking analysis for dental practices. You upload a Profit & Loss statement, provide practice information, and receive a benchmarking report via email. The report compares your practice's financials against industry benchmarks and provides actionable insights.
The Service is operated by Dr. Oliver Carr, a licensed dentist-owner based in Spokane, Washington.
3. One Practice Per Submission
Each submission and report is intended for a single dental practice location. Submitting consolidated or multi-location P&Ls will produce inaccurate benchmarking results. DentalPNL benchmarks are calibrated for single-location practices. You are responsible for ensuring your submission represents one practice.
4. Payment and Refund Policy
Reports are priced at $149 per report. Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of submission.
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once your P&L has been submitted and the analysis has been initiated. By checking the disclaimer checkbox on the submission form, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
If a technical failure on our end prevents your report from being delivered, we will rerun your analysis at no additional charge.
5. Not Professional Advice
DentalPNL reports are informational benchmarking tools only. Nothing in any report constitutes:
- Financial, accounting, or tax advice
- Legal advice
- Professional consulting services
- A substitute for advice from a licensed CPA, attorney, or financial advisor
Benchmarks are based on general dental industry data and may not reflect your specific market, specialty, or practice circumstances. Always consult qualified professionals before making significant business decisions.
6. Data, Privacy and Benchmark Database
Your P&L document is processed in real time and is never stored after analysis is complete. However, a small set of fully anonymized aggregate metrics (overhead percentages, collections range, practice type, state) may be retained to build DentalPNL's proprietary benchmarking database. No practice name, owner name, email, exact dollar amounts, or identifying information is ever stored. This anonymized data is used solely to improve benchmark accuracy and is never sold to third parties. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Accuracy of Information
By submitting a report request, you confirm that all information provided — including your P&L document and practice details — is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. DentalPNL is not responsible for inaccurate analysis resulting from inaccurate or incomplete submissions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DentalPNL and Dr. Oliver Carr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any report generated by the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific report giving rise to the claim.
9. Intellectual Property
The DentalPNL platform, including its benchmarking methodology, report templates, and analysis framework, is proprietary. Reports generated for your practice are provided for your personal business use. You may not resell, redistribute, or represent DentalPNL reports as your own work product.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit P&Ls for practices you do not own or have explicit authorization to analyze
- Upload documents that are not genuine Profit & Loss statements
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or replicate the DentalPNL analysis methodology
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
